Biotech Process Engineering Platform
BioProcess Nexus
The Challenge
Biopharma process engineers needed to reason about process validation and predictive deviation signals without a live, high-risk PLC/SCADA integration — and they needed an AI-assisted regulatory Q&A surface that would not pretend to be validation-ready before it was.
The Approach
Built synthetic operational-technology and historian simulators so the automation and predictive-insight layers are demonstrable without touching a live plant. Shipped real OpenAI-backed endpoints (process-flow and document enhancement) via the Vercel AI SDK. A regulatory assistant interface sits behind access tiers with a client-side keyword demo over curated knowledge for the public surface — full provider-agnostic RAG grounding remains a separate product pattern, not this demo's claim.
The Outcome
Proof that “map the process, automate deliberately” holds up outside a small-business context: synthetic plant data, real model-backed tooling where it ships, and honest access tiers around anything that still needs validation.
